The all new Cherry Tree at Blackrod near Bolton is a very popular and now a fully refurbished pub and restaurant. The Cherry Tree has seen several name changes over the years, but Paul & Catherine Taylor the new owners have decided the time was right to re-brand the business and revert back the original name of the Cherry Tree. In the late 1940's and 1950's it was a very popular roadside café catering for the many van and lorry drivers – all before the current motorway network and service stations.
A hearty menu for all to enjoy
Our food is based on a traditional English pub style with a modern approach. Classics such as ale battered fish 'n' chips, peppered steak pie, fisherman's pie, home made beef burgers and juicy steaks are featured, with other favourites as our very own Cherry Tree sticky toffee pudding, homemade cheesecakes and a fabulous selection of local cheeses.

Businessmen can utilise the free internet Wi-fi service which is available whilst enjoying a late breakfast or sandwich over lunch. Once lunchtime service has finished we will be serving our cakes and coffee menu which gives you the perfect opportunity to indulge yourself whilst catching up with friends and family.
